Over the past few weeks, Limassol Marina has been alive with excitement, laughter, and a deep sense of connection, as our community came together to celebrate a decade of cherished memories. From fitness enthusiasts and treasure hunters to music and nature lovers, our community came alive, sharing in moments that will be remembered for years to come.
Our 10-year celebrations kicked off with the Sunset Beach Workout on the stunning Peninsula Beach on 20 September, organised in collaboration with Sanctum Spa & Fitness and Gazebo Mare. As the sun began to dip below the horizon, a group of eager participants gathered for an invigorating workout session. The golden sunset provided the perfect backdrop as fitness enthusiasts powered through exercises, encouraged by the refreshing sea breeze. The energy was electric, with upbeat music setting the tempo for the evening, while the fading warmth of the sun created a uniquely vibrant atmosphere that had everyone feeling both relaxed and energised by the end of the workout.
Early risers were treated to a peaceful and rejuvenating Morning Yoga Session, the day after, on 21 September. Set against the serene backdrop of Peninsula Beach, participants stretched, breathed, and embraced the calmness of the morning. The gentle sound of waves lapping against the shore added to the tranquil atmosphere, while the first rays of the sun gently kissed the beachgoers. With a mixture of locals and visitors joining in, the session brought an undeniable sense of community and harmony. Participants left with a sense of inner peace and balance to start their day. This event was also a collaboration between Limassol Marina, Sanctum Spa & Fitness and Gazebo Mare.
The energy was high at Limassol Marina on the morning of 1 October as families, friends, and teams gathered for the much-anticipated Marina Treasure Hunt. The picturesque marina became a playground for adventurers, with participants eagerly solving clues, navigating their way through hidden spots at Limassol Marina, and racing to the finish line. Laughter echoed around the marina as teams worked together in the spirit of competition and fun. The excitement was palpable, and the mix of challenge, exploration, and camaraderie made it an unforgettable experience for all who took part. At the end of the Marina Treasure Hunt, all the teams had the chance to win some exciting gifts, generously provided by the cafes, restaurants and shops at Limassol Marina.
The 10-year celebrations continued with the highly anticipated Marina Music Weekend on 5-6 October. This two-day concert became a vibrant celebration of music and culture at the Slipway area at Limassol Marina. From 17:30 to 21:30, live performances by Christos Dantis, Constantinos Christoforou, Minus One, Funky Grannies and Christina Averkiou band filled the air with eclectic tunes as people came together to enjoy the warm autumn evenings. The lively atmosphere was complemented by a variety drinks, with attendees dancing or simply relaxing to the rhythm of the music. It was the perfect way to wind down after the past week’s activities, and the weekend closed out this event series on a high note.
Capping off the series of events are the upcoming fun-filled Paradox Family Bonding weekend at the Limassol Paradox Museum to be held on 2-3 November 2024, featuring a treasure hunt, children's workshop, arts & crafts, and more, creating a memorable experience of creativity and connection for all. The festivities will continue on 30 November with an invigorating Marina Hiking Trip at Cape Aspro, where participants will set off from Limassol Marina for a 3-hour adventure through beautiful landscapes, followed by a relaxing beachside brunch providing the perfect opportunity for everyone to unwind and bond.
