Transforming excellence in Hospitality & Tourism in Cyprus
Limassol Marina has been honoured with the prestigious Leader in Hospitality – Hospitality Leading Entrepreneur Award by the Cyprus Hotel Association, recognising Limassol Marina’s outstanding contribution to the hospitality sector.
Organised by the Cyprus Hotel Association and IMH, the General Manager of Limassol Marina, Mr Nikiforos Pampakas, received this esteemed recognition at The Leaders in Hospitality Awards Ceremony which took place in the context of the 45th Cyprus Hotel Summit & Exhibition. The event was addressed to hotel owners, CEO’s and executives of hotels and hospitality-related businesses and it took place on Friday, 23rd February 2024, at the City of Dreams Mediterranean.

This accolade awarded to the Marina underscores its pivotal role in shaping the landscape of hospitality and tourism in Cyprus. It stands as the first completed superyacht marina in Cyprus, marking a remarkable success story for the island. Celebrating 10 years from the first time the project welcomed its first visitors in its commercial area, Limassol Marina has achieved €500+ million in property sales attracting buyers from across the globe, it has welcomed more than 7000 yacht arrivals including over 300 superyachts, and has welcomed more than 17 million visitors all these years. Limassol Marina is also the recipient of various international and local accolades such as the International Smart & Sustainable Marina Award, the ‘International Clean Marina’ Accreditation, the 5 Gold Anchor Platinum Award and the Blue Flag Marina Award, as well as several sought-after ISO certifications.
Limassol Marina remains a key driver in enhancing Cyprus’ image abroad, contributing towards the growth of the local economy, and positioning the country on the nautical yachting map. This is exemplified by the 1000 jobs created throughout its construction and operation, its role in revitalising Limassol’s cultural centre, and its significant contribution to upgrading the overall standard of tourism in Cyprus.
